We Celebrated Girls' Day in Informatics with Young People

We celebrated Girls in Informatics Day on April 25 with the hashtag #benimisimbilisim with the awareness campaign carried out in cooperation with the Association of Women in Technology and Ekşi Sözlük, in order to inspire, encourage and support young people, especially female students, to pursue a career in the field of informatics.

A fiction has been developed that will attract the attention of dictionary users, to encourage women to take part in the field of informatics, to raise awareness about the participation rate of women in technology, to convey the message of our Association on the diversity of women and men in technology. When the day came, Wtech launched an awareness campaign on Girls in Informatics Day, based on popular headlines and the remarkable discourses of the Dictionary. Both Dictionary and social media users showed great interest in the campaign.
