Öget Kantarcı, a graduate of Koç University, Department of Social Sciences, started his career at Peugeot. Kantarcı, who worked as Corporate Sales Director at Turkcell, continued his e-commerce career at Otto Group in 2009, starting in Estore. Kantarcı, who stepped into GittiGidiyor, an eBay company as Sales Director in 2014 and has been sitting in the General Manager's chair since 2015, has also received the title of eBay MENA Regional Director as of January 1, 2018. Kantarcı was elected as the chairman of the TOBB E-Commerce Sector Assembly, one of the umbrella organizations of the sector in 2016, and became the first president of the formation, leading the establishment of the TÜSİAD E-Commerce Working Group in 2018. Kantarcı, who joined the TÜSİAD Board of Directors in 2019 and was appointed as the Vice President of the Digital Transformation Round Table, is also the Board Advisor at Galatasaray Sports Club, of which he is a member.
