I am Doğan Yavuz, I graduated from Adana Alparslan Türkeş Science and Technology University, Department of Management Information Systems in 2020. Then, I successfully completed Wtech's Business Analyst training and started my job as an Analyst at Vizyoneks Information Technologies Corporation. I was a Wtech Academy student like you a short time ago. I would like to share with you my experience and training process that I have gained until my current position.

Today, just graduating from university cannot guarantee us finding a job, unfortunately. For this reason, closely following the transformation projects of institutions that attach importance to technology such as Wtech, which appeal to people of all ages, will provide us with a great advantage in our career journey. Centuries ago, the most important indicator of wealth and power in feudal societies was land ownership. The more fields you had, the more powerful you were thought to be. In the early 1900s, ground or land was replaced by underground resources such as oil, coal and natural gas. States were demonstrating their wealth and power on a global scale with energy. In today's world, these resources have been replaced by expressions expressing value, which we call data. But these data mean nothing raw. With the know-how they gained in technology and the industry, people transformed data into information and made it usable. If we take a look at the ten largest companies in the world in Forbes, the point I want to tell will be understood more clearly. Because nine of these ten companies are technology companies. The biggest feature of these companies is that they are companies that can use data effectively. (Google, Facebook, Tesla, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.) That's why I think it is very important to be able to take part in today's biggest market, the technology sector. So, what kind of perspective can I give to my students and new graduates who want to direct their careers in the technology sector, I want to talk about this a little bit.

I would like to start by detailing the recruitment process for a new graduate. First of all, internships and certificates obtained during university years will be a kind of entrance ticket to the technical training you will receive on free platforms such as Wtech. Because CV scans and interviews are made in order to be accepted to such trainings. The certificate obtained after successful completion of the training will be the key to getting a job. For this reason, university years should be spent efficiently. This will both prepare a technical infrastructure for the field you want and provide an international network environment. Thanks to programs such as Wtech-Digital transformation, which will enable you to work on a more niche subject, which you will participate in, on a sector-based basis, your time to find a job will accelerate and you will go beyond the term fish out of water. Because in the training you receive at Wtech, you will have the chance to listen to the experiences of people who have worked in the sector for years, and you will have the opportunity to work on original and real cases for business life. This will make you a better equipped graduate, which is exactly the performance the industry expects from us young people. Moreover, after the program, you will be able to participate in the career coaching and job placement program you need. I am waiting for all friends who want to develop their career in the technology sector to the Wtech Platform, which is an important stakeholder in digital transformation in our country, and I hope that the things I mentioned will bring a light to your mind.
