My Story with Wtech

Hello,

I am Kamer Koçak, I  graduated from Testing for Software Developers.

My acquaintance with Wtech started with the training advertisement I saw on a career site. When I did some research to get to know the community, I saw how supportive and innovative they were, and when I saw that they had a training in the field I wanted to advance, I immediately applied. The application process proceeded more like a job application than an education application process. In this way, I immediately saw how professional and selective they are in this regard, and I was even more excited with each step I took. When I was called by phone to inform that I passed the technical test stage, everything was explained to me in such a detailed and friendly way that I started to wait excitedly for the online interview step, which I normally always get nervous about.

The program is prepared in such detail that you never feel inadequate thanks to Wtech, even if you start working in that field after the training you have received. I was entitled to participate in the "Expertise in Testing for Software Developers" training and in the last days of the training I had the knowledge to offer a detailed idea about everything that I did not know at the beginning.

In our technical trainings, we saw the knowledge of many people from different companies and different positions in parallel with a well-planned curriculum. We made applications such as Case Study and saw how to apply what we learned according to the situations.

Our instructors answered each of our questions and took care of everything we were curious about. They have helped us to interpret what we have learned more effectively with many applications, as well as offering the equivalent of what remains in theory in business life.

In this process, as I saw how distinguished places Wtech graduates were, the possibility of taking such a solid step at the beginning of my career really spurred me. On the day of the online interview, the process went so professionally that I felt like I was in a job interview, and it was as important to me as it is to gain interview experience for a student. After I excitedly answered many questions such as what I want to do, what the training I will add to me, how much I know about the subject I want to specialize in, and how I can add value to myself, I learned that I was entitled to participate in the training in the following days. When the training calendar was shared, I was quite surprised because while I had plans in my mind that I would receive training on the field I chose, in fact, many topics such as my personal development, what I would experience when I started my business life, and the communication I would establish in the social field were selected in detail and added to my training calendar to be given by distinguished people in their fields.

With Google Tools and Microsoft Office trainings, we have seen how they prioritize the importance of staying up-to-date as well as applying what we will encounter in business life.

Our Soft Skill trainings were so full and fun that we could not understand how it ended and sometimes our jaws ached from laughing. During the pandemic period, we all saw each other every day and socially supported each other very well from afar from our own homes. Our instructors have always encouraged us to be more extroverted, and it's always been something I love that they approach us professionally but aware that we are balls of energy at the very beginning of our career.

I would like to thank the Women in Technology Association for this beautiful educational opportunity and I want them to know that I took the steps of my career more solidly thanks to them.

I advise everyone who is considering applying to go to the application page in front of them without stopping and hurry to be a part of this beautiful community. You have a lot to learn and there are very valuable people who want to guide you, who have gone through these paths and love to share their knowledge.

They get even more excited with our excitement, and it feels so good.

I am very happy to have crossed paths with Wtech, I would like to thank the whole community...
